The Pumpkin Patch

Hello family and friends,
Here are some pictures that mom and dad took when we were at the pumpkin patch today. Jelly and I had so much fun petting the bunnies, running through the hay maze, and hugging pumpkins (actually, Jelly hugs them, I punch them and sit on them)!

Jack is Back

Hi everyone. I titled this blog "Jack is Back" because, well, I haven't posted for about two months! Sorry for the intermission. Let me catch you up on what I've been doing. So, we moved into a new house, which is awesome. I've learned to crawl like a madman. I can stand up now and walk around the table. Etc, etc.

So, I thought I would share with you a little glimpse into the world of Jack. This was an incident that happened about two hours ago. It pretty much sums up what life is like around here. Check it out...

Jelly and I were sitting on the back porch and dad decided to grab the camera. "Let's take some pictures," he said. "You guys look so cute!" Well, Jelly latched onto the whole cute thing and started posing. But I had something else in mind...

More specifically, I had a purple popsicle on my mind. It looked so good, I just couldn't resist. So I waited patiently. Then dad said, "Livy, look at the camera and smile." This was my chance! I had to act quickly!

So I grabbed that purple piece of heaven with all my might and tried to squeeeeeze it off! And then, tragedy struck. Something went wrong. This wasn't my plan!

What had I done? What had I DONE?! My plan had failed. And the popsicle was dead. Just purple sugary lumps lying lifeless on the cement.

So, we said a little prayer for the dead popsicle, then daddy got the hose and we watched the purple chunks dissolve into the grass.

Amazingly, Jelly was pretty cool about it. She just held up her empty popsicle stick and said, "All done daddy." What a great sister.

See you all next time!

Tubby Time

I've recently started sitting up in the tubby all by myself! The first time I did it was at Grandpa and Grandma's house. Now, I can sit in the tubby every time we take a bath. I think my sister really likes having a tubby buddy now. We have lots of fun together - splashing, laughing, hugging.

I think it's really funny when mommy pours water on Jelly's head. She always freaks out and says, "Water in eyes! Water in eyes!" It's hilarious.

Maybe in my next blog I'll show you a video from tubby time!

Happy Jack 2

I celebrated my first Christmas this year! It was pretty cool. I got tons of new clothes and lots of toys to play with - I was pretty much in heaven. I also got to meet Santa Claus for the first time. My sister Olivia was totally scared of Santa, but I wasn't. It was no problem.

I also just started eating real food (other than rice cereal). Yesterday I tried sweet potatoes for the first time! They were so good!

On top of everything else, I got a new crib. It's way bigger, so I have plenty of space, and it's got really cool animals all over it.

Needless to say, I've been very happy lately, and here's a video to prove it. Make sure to not confuse my little squeals with anger or frustration - trust me, they are squeals of pure delight...
